Mediante deslizamientos en la direcci\u00f3n longitudinal del edificio se alcanzan mejores condiciones de soleamiento y ventilaci\u00f3n asi como se consigue una diferenciaci\u00f3n volum\u00e9trica clara de la zona infantil y primaria. El edificio proyectado mantiene proporciones horizontales con tres plantas en total, donde se diferencia la planta baja con retranqueos y otros desplazamientos horizontales y las dos plantas superiores. La planta baja recoge los usos de aulas de infantil, administraci\u00f3n, comedor e instalaciones. La distribuci\u00f3n de las aulas en altura se corresponde con la de edad ascendente del alumnado. El marcado volumen horizontal se subdivide verticalmente con bandas crom\u00e1ticas en fachada, interactuando con el entorno. Su disposici\u00f3n es perpendicular con respecto a la calle, de forma similar al actual CEIP A LOMBA y al CEIP AREA LONGA. Transversalmente, el volumen tambi\u00e9n se divide el dos piezas (norte y sur) que suavizan el impacto visual desde la calle.
