Es la imagen de la autopista que se transmite al exterior. De ah\u00ed la importancia de su dise\u00f1o. Para el proyecto de las estaciones de peaje, adem\u00e1s de los condicionantes funcionales y t\u00e9cnicos estrictos, se han tenido en cuenta premisas de diverso origen. Entre otras las paisaj\u00edsticas.<br \/>\nEn un paisaje ondulado como el gallego no es f\u00e1cil insertar un edificio sin que se produzcan desplomes \u00f3pticos; por ello se trat\u00f3 el edificio de control con movimiento de techos y vol\u00famenes que producen una multiplicidad de horizontales, junto con la acentuaci\u00f3n de elementos verticales netos (chimenea, acceso). La autopista act\u00faa como transformador del paisaje y da un nuevo modo de relaci\u00f3n cin\u00e9tica con \u00e9l. La marquesina como elemento de visi\u00f3n frontal act\u00faa como hito en el recorrido de la ruta, adem\u00e1s de encuadrar y limitar la estaci\u00f3n de peaje.
